Manifesting in an Erotic Space
A Post by Adam Nicholson
We hear a lot about manifestation. We want to manifest abundance, the right job, the perfect man … but those goals can be wily creatures - always sneaking away right when we think we have them.
It's not about manifesting a few good things like a job or a man. We are manifesting our realities all day. And we are manifesting exactly what we ask for.
The problem is we don’t understand what we are asking for because we don’t know what we want.
Getting to the heart of our true wants and desires is tough. From a very early age everyone around us is hell bent on telling us what we should want and be. It quickly takes over our thoughts and emotions, getting lodged in our minds and in our bodies.
We go down these paths that we think we should take. For some lucky ones, those can be wonderfully soul-aligned paths. For others, like me, they were far out of alignment
At some point though, we get a sense that something's off. We begin to believe that there’s something more fulfilling. But sensing this doesn’t help us to manifest what we want.
Manifesting thrives on specificity. Asking for “something better” will not help much. We need clarity around what we want, what excites us, and what brings fulfillment.
I and many of my clients have found that tapping into our sexual energy can be an efficient way to dive deeper into our bodies and come to better understand our intuition and desires.
Sexual Energy and the Erotic
The pathway is through our genitals. It is not the only path, but it is the one most of us know quite well. However, if we’re only reaching an erotic state of flow during a one-to-three-second orgasm, we’re missing out on a lot.
What can you do about this? Many things:
Breathing exercises teach you how to pull and expand your sexual energy out from your genitals.
Using your intentionwill help to push and pull this powerful energy to other parts of your body.
Meditationwill help you be present for what is happening and how your sexual energy is impacting you.
Non-ejaculation practice can help bring awareness around what is possible with your body. Once you understand that you don’t have to come every time you have sex, new worlds unfold.
None of this is easy, but it's not so very hard either.
Over time, these practices will take you deeper into your body. You form a new relationship with your body and its sexual energy. You’ll notice that your erotic state is expanding - not just during sex but in other areas of your life.
You will then start to have more clarity around what's not in alignment in your life. Where before you sensed that “”something” was off, now you know what that “something” was. That is critical in being able to see new paths and take new steps on your journey. If you don’t trust your body, you’ll always be second guessing, and you'll stay on the path that you know. Things that are known feel safer - even when they aren’t right for you.
So start with your sexual energy - expand it and deepen your erotic state. You’ll have clarity and your ability to manifest.
And that's when things really start to get fun!
