When Winter Gay Spirit Camp 2013 was first announced, no one could foresee that it would be a landmark event in the history of Easton Mountain. But it was at that event that Wil Fisher first assumed a role of an event host. The previous year we had started a policy of having younger hosts for Winter Gay Spirit Camp. The picture above shows him on that weekend in a silver frock - probably from the drag closet. And below is a picture of him leading a circle with one of his co-hosts, Matt Breau.

The hosts planned a fun-filled event for young and old, including tubing at a nearby sky resort.

A special feature of this weekend was a set of mailboxes, so men could send personal notes to each other.

During the next two years Wil did so many wonderful things for Easton Mountain that last year Easton's board named him as our Executive Director - but in 2013 everybody just had a good time - and probably didn't think about the hosts that had planned it and made it work. As Executive Director, Wil will play an even greater role in making sure that everyone coming to Winter Gay Spirit Camp, 2016 has a fabulous time - he may even again wear that silver frock.
