Back in December. we posted something about the first retreat for men who knit. That retreat was followed by a second one, a year later. It had a talent show. If you've been to other talent shows at Easton Mountain, you know they have singing, dancing, music, poetry and maybe a dramatization. A knitters' talent show is different. Here anyone who wants may display and model some of the fantastic examples of fiber art that they have created . Here are some examples from the 2009 talent show.

Six weeks after the retreat, I counted twenty-five blog posts by men who had attended. These men not only knit, many of them write too.
The knitting retreat next weekend is sold out. But Alan Haney, our director of volunteers, says he could use two or three more volunteers. They will be able to participate in retreat events when their duties permit. If you're interested contact Alan at volunteer@eastonmountain.org.
