If you're someone whose first taste of Easton Mountain was in the last few years, you won't remember the time when the pool was in the deck that occupies the south-east quadrant of the Lodge. In hot days, it was just as popular as our new pool, but because of its proximity to the Great Room, we had to limit it's use to times when there were no workshops.
The deck was also a place for dining and socializing. However, because most of the space was taken up by the pool, there were only three tables.
Now the deck is much more useful for socializing and even concerts while the pool is far enough away that it can be used even when workshops are being held.
