More from Jason Tantra

I could talk for hours and write many books (which have already been written) about Tantric Sex. It is a big topic in Tantra. But not the only topic.

There is so much shame, guilt and judgement around our sexual energy. As humans we have persecuted people for it, we have judged people for how they choose to express it. If it is not loved, nurtured and respected as one of the most, if not the most beautiful gift we have been given as humans, it becomes something out of necessity or something dirty, shameful that we cannot talk about, let alone freely express.

When we are truly and deeply immersed in sex we are free. We are free of our cultural differences, our cultural rules, our ancestral programming; we are in a state of total Bliss & Freedom when we allow ourselves to flow and to experience with a sense of consciousness that which I believe is our true state.

Before humanity became civilized (or uncivilized) as you prefer to be, we did not have anyone else telling us how to be. We were free; we were able to just be all that we could be, because that was all that we had. Over years of religious interference in our society, we have just had 2,000 years of the Catholic Religion saying that the way we are, which was not by choice, is wrong! Hello! And we have been persecuted, tortured and even put to death for just being our natural selves. In fact today that still exists in Iran. It breaks my heart to hear of young men, no older than 18, being hanged for being gay. That just is not right!

In Tantra, I teach men to find their inner freedom. We use our sexuality, our sexual energy as that pathway to freedom. Yes there are other pathways, but for me, our sexual energy is the most powerful thing that we have and when we combine Tantric techniques into the mix, we experience something that is beyond magical, beyond mystical, we find the reminder of what and who we truly our. Our enlightened selves. Our true selves. For whatever reason could there be for humanity to exist, but to really know itself. For us to really know ourselves.

Our sex is the only way we have (apart from LSD) of being in our true natures, everything else is ego that gets in the way. Thereby if I can show you how to be more connected, more intimate, more sexual, more honoring, more divine, more spiritual, this is the pathway. This is Tantra.

Jason and his husband Ingo will be hosting the Tantra 4 Gay Men Festival, August 8-13, 2017, at Easton Mountain.
