Finding God Through Your Body April 16-19

Finding God Through Your Body
Create a Unique Prayerbook for Your Life and Body

Facilitated by David Dunn Bauer

FGTYB1This retreat is really about God. This retreat is really about your body. This retreat is really about you, on the deepest level of understanding and mystery.

Gratitude, yearning, and healing. From your heart to your ass to your bones to your core. Each one of us inhabits a unique and marvelous body. Every aspect of our bodies holds special wisdom and a unique blessing. We are all capable of praying through our bodies and for our bodies with more intensity than we know. By building prayerful knowledge of our physical selves, we build genuine intimacy with God.

FGTYB2Devoting ourselves to three magical nights and days of self-care and self-respect, we practice yoga and share therapeutic and erotic massage. We will meditate and we will write. At the end, you will have distilled a personal prayerbook that is unique to your life and body. By combining acute spiritual presence and acute physical awareness we find strength to move past shyness and shame towards a more vivid sense of blessedness. We can become better lovers, better leaders, better teachers, better men.

This retreat is for men of all ages and body types, of any faith tradition or of none. All that is required is a desire to know yourself better and to open yourself to the Creative Mystery of the Universe.
