It is a ministry combining the talents of award winning singer-songwriters Rev Yolanda and Freddy Freeman. Both Rev Yolanda and Freddy Freeman have had years of experience, facilitating spiritual workshops, offering spiritual counselling, designing church services, and producing music festivals for diverse communities, including LGBTQ people and their allies. This is a ministry of radical love and acceptance, emphasizing what is good in each of us and what connects us. The Raise It Up Gospel Hour gives people an opportunity to reconnect through music, with a rich spiritual tradition, they may have felt alienated from in the past. As interfaith ministers, Rev Yolanda and Freddy Freeman combine traditional southern gospel tunes like "I'll Fly Away", "Amazing Grace" and "Just As I Am" with their own originals compositions inspired by teachings like New Thought, Unity, Buddhism and A Course In Miracles. It is a rousing, heartwarming, hand-clapping, sing along celebration of spirit. With sincere faith, musical excellence, harmonies, and a dash of wit and humor, Rev Yolanda and Freddy will open your heart, help you feel more connected, and make your soul smile.
