A Singular Sensation!
Gay Men’s Single Retreat 2015
Proudly take your place in the circle of gay, single men for a fun filled, Columbus Day weekend at Easton Mountain during one of the most beautiful seasons of the year! Together, we’ll discover many ways to celebrate the joys of being single while making our lives “a singular sensation”. You’ll have a lot of fun while making new friends and enjoying the refreshing atmosphere of community.
During this weekend you’ll rediscover the many things there are to love about being single. Together we’ll also look at the challenges and share effective strategies that enrich our lives with more love, friendship, intimacy and authentic connections. Many of us truly love being single and envision staying that way by choice. Others of us are interested in meeting Mister Right and forming a committed relationship or even entering into marriage. This weekend is for ALL single gay men regardless of what our ultimate relationship goals may be.
There will be plenty of free time, engaging workshops which you can choose to attend or not, and a bunch of outrageously fun social events offered throughout the weekend sure to make you laugh and relax. We’ll arrange for delicious and healthy meals with tasty treats for dessert, and even include a special wine tasting event for your enjoyment, with a delightful assortment of non-alcohol beverages for those who prefer not to imbibe. There will be time for hiking in nature, enjoying the sauna and hot tub, a wildly fun dance party, and even an optional workshop on “showtunes yoga”. Truly something for everyone!
This weekend is a time to love being single, make new friendships, and have a lot of fun. And know that your facilitation team is committed to offering all this is a way that’s fun, flexible, and inviting for all, totally respecting everyone’s personal boundaries and a wide diversity of interests. Isn’t this the perfect time to expand your social circle and enjoy a spectacular fall weekend away surrounded by nature’s beauty?

Rich Volo went to his first ACT UP meeting in 1987 before he even came out of the closet. He spent twenty years on Wall Street, working in derivatives and implementing reconciliation systems. Now, he dresses in drag, runs a cookie-baking business and financial software support desk, and promotes events! From parades to bar nights, Trixie Starr is known as an organizer of gay life in the Hudson Valley. Rich is currently running for Fourth Ward Alderman in the City of Hudson, New York and hopes to be one of the few (if any) drag queen elected officials in the country.
