Summer Splash - Imagination
Hosted by the Easton Mountain Community with Guest Facilitators
Join us for a fun-filled, Imagination-themed weekend! In addition to all the enjoyable activities you expect at an Easton event - swimming, a bonfire, an "Out on the Deck" concert, dancing, delicious food, and making new friends - this weekend will feature workshops and other events that will spark your imagination.
Imaginative people are fun to be with. If you were lucky, as a child, your parents and teachers encouraged your imagination. But whether they did or not, sparking your imagination is a way to be the kind of person whose company others enjoy.
At this weekend, we'll inaugurate our new Pavilion of Imagination - a place to explore your fantasies and find ways to share those fantasies with others. The workshops this week will give you opportunities to tell stories, draw and paint pictures, make up songs, act, dance and discover new ways to share your imagination - and be delighted by the imagination of your friends.
Here's a preliminary schedule for this weekend:
- Opening circle focusing on Infinite Imagination
- Puppy Pile led by Jay Freeman
- Listening to Your Body (Sarong Dancing) - led by Sunfire
- Vocal Skinny-dipping (Music Improv) l- ed by Freddy Freeman
- Let’s Get Whacked? Unlocking Your Creative Genius For Life, Love, and Work - led by Mike Hands
- Possibly a theater games workshop
