About the Program
“Create Connection Now” is a journey into oneness and deeper connection, using personal art-making, touch, massage, music, meditation and shamanic drumming as a multi-disciplinary approach to help increase feelings of connection with yourself, your community, and your world.
In this fast-paced world where we are limited in our in-person contact and often end up connecting with others electronically, this weekend provides opportunity to connect more deeply with yourself and others in our gay male tribe in heartfelt ways to feel re-connected, re-energized, and rejuvenated
* learn skills and techniques to improve personal connections at home.
* overcome feelings of isolation by learning practical skills to promote feelings of connection with others and the world around you.
* embody a greater sense of well-being
* deepen your sense of spiritual connectedness
* explore a wide variety of techniques that will help you clarify next steps at home for expanded connection.
A rough outline of what to expect (subject to change)
Friday Night: Check in and discussion about our personal spiritual experiences and overview of the weekend.
Saturday: Individual and Group Artwork, Nature Hikes, Music/Meditation, Shamanic Ritual and Drumming, Explorations of the Science of Spirituality, Group Sharing and Discussion.
Sunday: Paired and Group Touch and Massage, Group Practices and Ritual, Connection Circles, Chanting, Spiritual Exploration, Puppy Pile.
Monday: Reflections and Closing Ceremony, Circles and Affirmations. Self-Care next steps to take home.
About the Facilitators
Rates and Accommodations
All rates include housing, food and programming unless otherwise noted. Bookings are per person per bed.
- Newbie Rate: $295
Includes meals, programming, and best available housing. For first-time visitors to Easton Mountain only.
- Commuter: $ 245
Does not include Housing. Use this option if you want to attend the programming and have meals, but wish to stay off campus.
- Garden Cabin: $ 495
Dormitory style with 5 bunk beds that can sleep up to 10 people. Bathrooms facilities in the Lodge, 500 ft away.
- Quad: $545
Each quad room has two sets of bunk beds. its own bathroom and a shower. You may be sharing with up to 3 other guests.
- Semi Private: $695
Each semi-private room has 2 beds, a bathroom and shower. You may be sharing with 1 other guest.
- Event starts with dinner on Friday, Nov 10th at 7pm
- Event ends with Closing Circle on Monday Nov 13th, around 2pm
(You can arrive anytime after Noon on the start day. Rooms will be ready no later than 3pm)
