Exploring Concious Touch 2016 Logo Banner

Healing is not limited to the touch of a hand on our bodies. Touch also includes being touched through our breath, being touched by emotion, being touched by beauty, being touched by life itself…Touch is a holistic language all its own. Touch is a realm of being.  It is how we make contact with each other. Touch communicates compassion, caring and connection.

In this experiential hands-on workshop, we will join together as a community of men to explore conscious touch on many levels—from the physical touch of massage, to the emotional touch of the heart, to having our souls touched by music and through our connection with nature.  Making touch conscious involves building confidence and bringing clarity and intention to how we touch, and working with the mind/body/soul connection to heighten awareness of self and others.   Our goal is to open ourselves up to giving and receiving touch and being embodied in a deeper and more mindful way.

We will explore the art of giving and receiving massage and other touch-related modalities.  We will explore asking for and receiving touch in a more conscious way. We will explore erotic and sensual touch.  We will explore the sweetness of giving and receiving tender and intimate touch. We will let go of stress and tension, be nurtured, and open up to greater ease and freedom of being. We will create a safe, respectful container to help ourselves awaken our bodies, heal, play, connect in community, and mostly, we will HAVE FUN!!

(Please note there will be nudity as part of our massage and touch sessions, and also clothing-optional aspects of various exercises and rituals.  If you have any questions about this, you can email Arnie directly at akatz@ghtherapies.com )

Testimonials

“I have taken several workshops with Arnie.   Arnie’s workshops are fun!  He offers just the right amount of instruction, a safe and organized environment, and an invitation not to take things too seriously.  He helps us to be fully present and to bring all of ourselves into the room.  Arnie holds a huge heart-centered space so we can be ourselves, feel what we feel, feel safe, and connect with the group.  I always feel more alive and cared for after his workshops.” - Rob B.

"I have been a participant in Arnie’s massage workshops at Easton Mountain.  I am very interested in touch and healing modalities and love to be in situations where I can be mentored and can learn by doing.  Arnie has a gift for creating a comfortable setting for everyone to grow into the healer that they are meant to be.  He integrates tantric techniques, breath work, an understanding of chakras as well as massage strokes into his sessions.  But most of all, he finds time to individually guide and encourage." - Nick C.
