Mirco Sorci


WINTER SPIRIT CAMP HOST & FACILITATOR -Mirco is originally from a small village of 2,000 people on the Adriatic coast of Italy. He moved to Troy NY in 2006 to work as a Research Scientist at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He spends his days doing experiments in a biotechnology lab and supervising students. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, gardening, going to movies and playing volleyball. In 2015 he discovered Easton Mountain, and has been volunteering in the kitchen ever since. He will be offering a kitchen-workshop: “Tortellini 101”. where he will show you how to prepare fresh pasta and a cheese-based filling, and a chemistry-kitchen-workshop: “Homemade Healing Salve", where he will teach you to make a simple recipe using organic ingredients like beeswax, olive oil, and essential oils. Eucalyptus, Lavender and Rosemary will conquer Easton Mountain!
