Mr. Welch is a psychotherapist with a private practice in New York. He has over 30 years of experience in the areas of addiction, HIV, LGBT, adult and adolescent care. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). He has facilitated workshops in: Counselor Wellness, Stress Management and Addiction. He currently facilitates two therapy groups: Women of Color and Black Gay Men's Talking Group (men over 30 who identify as same gender loving). Mr Welch completed a Masters in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University. He also has postgraduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Training and Supervision from both Bryn Mawr School of Social Service and Research and Hunter College School of Social Work respectively. Mr Welch is a member of: National Association of Social Workers and The Academy of Certified Social Workers.
