A Weekend Retreat for Massage Therapists and Other Hands-On
Healers
Facilitated by Robert Bruillard,
Don Shewey & Robert Wolf
Friday, September 17 - Monday, September 20, 2010
We invite you to join us in creating
a relaxing and delicious three-day “playshop.”
This weekend is about rest and renewal for people who
spend their working hours doing massage, physical therapy,
yoga/Pilates instruction, sacred intimates and other
health care practitioners.
Bodyworkers hold a special place in
today’s world. In a high-tech culture, we provide
a human touch. In a health care system that prefers
to treat by prescription, we provide hands-on healing.
We pride ourselves on selfless service and we’re
privileged to love what we do. We’re also notoriously
lax about self-care and often starved for community.
At this retreat, there will be opportunities
to share specialty skills and exchange sessions with
other professionals. There will also be formal and informal
conversations about boundaries, burnout, skillful use
of erotic energy, and other topics that pertain to the
field. Plus plenty of soul-nourishing downtime for sunbathing,
swimming, hiking, and recharging your batteries by enjoying
Easton’s lovely grounds, sauna, and hot tub.
Note: This is not a training
for beginners or aspiring bodyworkers but a retreat
for people with an established professional practice. |
