EM Sets Sail
Lake George, located about an hour north of Easton Mountain, is a gorgeous, 32-mile long lake situated between the Hudson & St. Lawrence River Valleys. Upon writing this, I’ve also learned that it’s known as “Queen of the Lakes” … fitting, considering that Easton Mountain staff & volunteers have sailed her waters for most of the past 15 summers.
This staff & volunteer outing has become somewhat of a tradition, sponsored by the tips left for volunteers by our retreat guests. This year, in addition to celebrating the hard work of our team, we also got to celebrate the birthday of our program director, Freddy aka “Goldenheart”.
The crew on board the Lac du Saint Sacrement, of the Lake George Steamboat Company, served a buffet spread, drinks and entertainment. This year, the two musicians lit up the evening! Impressive vocals, great energy, shoutout to Lacey Allen & Chris Dollard. By the end of the night, the dance floor was lit, and included a congo line led by our very own Arturo.
