Memorial Garden & Cemetery
Set aside from the rest of the Easton Mountain campus, the Easton Mountain Memorial Garden & Cemetery sits atop a peaceful slop amongst maple, black walnut, apple & wild rose.
The Harrington family lived here and were laid to rest in the late 19th century. Theirs were the first headstones to mark this grove.
Since the Harringtons’ departure, the cemetery became the final resting place for others; loved ones are commemorated here, their ashes added to the stone columbarium or spread amongst the soft, mossy ground cover.
Care for this sacred ground has changed hands over time. Harry Fadis has been a longtime caretaker. As has Moss Tidd, architect of the columbarium and central sculptural spire. In recent years, Marco Antomia has taken up the torch and the cemetery is vibrant within his care.
