Inclusive Family Passover Seder

Easton Mountain Invites You!

Join us for an inclusive family Passover Seder to celebrate liberation, renewal, and connection. Your hosts, Jonathan Comisar, Adam B. Shapiro, David Dunn Bauer and Scott Alexander invite you to enjoy a Seder of meaningful traditions and loving innovations. Look forward to delicious food and a warm atmosphere in which everyone belongs. We invite people of all genders, faiths, and backgrounds to our table. We will honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a future together.

This Seder will provide an abundant Jewish feast for body, mind, and soul. The holiday encourages us to relax as we celebrate and eat, and where better to do that, than Easton Mountain?

  • The meal will be free of chametz (leavened foods) but not strictly Kosher for Passover.

  • It will be a fleishig (meat) meal, with limited vegan options.

  • Desserts will be parve (neither meat nor dairy) and scrumptious.

  • We are crafting a special Easton Mountain Haggadah, blending ancient and contemporary texts with the lived experiences of our unique community. (We got your Four Questions. We also got a lot more questions!)

  • If you have further questions about the menu or ritual, please contact Jonathan

📅 Date: Sunday April 13th - Candle lighting and ritual beginning at 6pm
(Please arrive between 4 and 5:30 to be ready to start at 6pm)

Want to Stay Overnight?

You're welcome to stay in Easton’s guest house (best available housing). A continental breakfast will be provided on Monday morning. Please let us know in the RSVP form if you'd like to stay.

How Much Does It Cost?

We ask for a suggested donation of $100 to help cover the costs of food and lodging. Any amount will be accepted, and nobody will be turned away. If you're able to contribute more, your generosity will help support others.

Can You Lend a Hand?

We could use help cleaning some rooms on Monday morning. If you’re available to volunteer, please let us know on the RSVP form.

Please sign up by April 9th so we can get a count for food and beds!
