Eshan Lacoste

Eshan Lacoste graduated from Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT  in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. He went on to receive a Masters in Clinical Mental Health from the College of St. Joseph’s in Rutland VT.  Eshan is a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. He has trained in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, client center and a humanistic modality.  He is currently working as a Co-Occurring Clinician at a non-profit mental health agency as well as working part-time at his own private practice. He has a history of being a teacher at the Community College of Vermont. His current position as supervising clinician is responsible for the provision of evaluation, treatment, and location services to adults in need of mental health and substance abuse services, or both and for developing and maintaining close working relationships with internal and external professional staff to provide coordinated and quality services. As a supervisor clinician he plays a pivotal role in the integration of mental health and substance abuse services across the adult substance abuse and outpatient program; he is an agent of positive change and an advocate for the integration of substance abuse and mental health services in the changing process. Eshan has helped and continues to help individuals learn ways to manifest their power and creativity and to create a safe space where people can root themselves in the moment and enrich themselves to better take care of their inner child.
