Jonathon Moon
Jonathon started performing at the age of three. Most recently, he wrote and performed a one-man show about escaping evangelical Christianity titled The Man That Got Away, which was staged in New York City and Westchester and supported by a New York Arts Grant. As a performer, Jonathon toured Europe as a soloist in By Bernstein. His other notable work includes the Florida tour and Savannah, Georgia productions of Forever Plaid and the West Coast tour of Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit’s Phantom of the Opera version called “Phantom”, as well as many regional musicals across the country. He also entertained audiences on three world cruises with Cunard Cruise Lines in the production show and his own show with orchestra. Additionally, Jonathon co-created Passage, a New York City–based trio blending Broadway and classical music, which concertized across the United States and Canada. He has also performed with the Grammy-nominated Voices of Ascension in New York City. Jonathon studied music at the Hartt School of Music in Connecticut and earned a B.F.A. from the University of Texas. He resides in the New York City area with his partner of 25 years and their adopted son and two chihuahuas.
