Jon Carl Lewis
Jon Carl Lewis (he/him) is a spiritual guide and liberative erotic educator/consultant in the contemplative Christian tradition. He helps individuals and communities tune into their inner guidance as they wrestle with the spiritual dimensions of choices in life both big and small. As a speaker and facilitator—sometimes as a writer—he engages individuals and communities in deep exploration of how sexuality, spiritual practice, and justice work can intersect in their lives, not only for their own benefit, but for the healing of their communities, the whole human family, and the worlds in which we live. Jon Carl is a gay man who has identified as queer since ca. 1990. He has lived in loving relationship with his husband, Steve, since 1995, and is currently a candidate for the Master of Arts in Public Ministry at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Due to his fervent commitment to both Jesus and erotic liberation through spiritual practice, ordination often looks very, very unlikely.
