Les K. Wright

Les K. Wright is a queer historian, memoirist, writer, photographer, literary scholar and book publisher. He has been a scholar-activist since the 1970s and has published extensively on the history of Bears. He is a founding member of the GLBT Historical Society San Francisco, founded in 1985 in response to recognizing the need to preserve the queer history that was rapidly vanishing before our eyes. His anthology Children of Lazarus: Voices of the “Forgotten Generation” of Long-Term AIDS Survivors will be published in the fall of 2025. He currently lives in Syracuse, NY. (leskwright.com)
