Body Balancing for Wellness, Body and Mind
Robert returns to work with us using his “Bangiola Protocol.” Part Cranial Sacral, Bengston Method, Alexander Technique, and part Tai Chi, Robert will lead you to find your most comfortable self by using motion and touch. Stretch with intention, and take it in the direction you want: to relax or energize. Parts of this workshop will stay with you as you keep learning about your beautiful and changing body. This grounding exercise is open to people of all forms and capabilities. In addition, Robert will have five private sessions available by appointment.
Chris Montani
Freedom Must Be Defended
Freedom is not experienced equally by everyone; it is shaped by circumstance, power, and access. In the politically uncertain months before the United States entered World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered his historic Four Freedoms speech during the State of the Union address on January 6, 1941. In it, he expanded upon the American ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness by calling for the defense of four essential human freedoms.
This workshop will explore those Four Freedoms in depth — what they meant then, what they mean today, and how they continue to shape our personal and collective lives. Participants will engage in thoughtful discussion about freedom in contemporary society and examine practical ways to protect and defend these freedoms in their everyday experiences and communities.
