"A Beautiful Undoing"
Be Seen. Be Supported. Be Awakened.

There are stories living within us that were never ours to begin with. Stories we absorbed from family, church, culture, lovers, bullies, silence, and survival. Stories like I’m not enough, I’m too much, I’m unlovable, I’m aging out, I’m broken, I’m ashamed. When we hide, these lies gain power.

This workshop offers a safe and intimate space to gently bring those stories into the light, where they lose their grip. Through creative exercises, guided meditation, connection, and the loving support of the group, you will release what isn’t yours, reconnect with your true self, and awaken to the magnificence and love that has always been within you.

Walking the Path of Nachiketa – A Two-Part Workshop in Self-Realization and Liberation

Part 1 – Walking into the Underworld

To achieve enlightenment and peace, first we must walk into the underworld and face what we fear. Stories and traditions from across the world teach us that to begin the journey to liberation, first we must go into the dark. In this two-part workshop, this first part will use the mythological story of Nachiketa and the Lord of Death to understand the power of this descent into the underworld, and how to use these moments in our life as initiations that take us from illusion to wisdom. Using a combination of guided writing exercises, meditations, music, movement, and poetry, we will walk with Nachiketa to meet the Lord of Death and receive the three blessings that will take us to enlightenment.

Part 2 – Realizing the True Self

To realize the true self and break free of the cycle of birth and death, we must answer the ultimate question: who are we? To begin the work of answering this crucial question, we will create a practice of peering into the mirror of the world to see past the distractions and get to the ultimate truth. As a loving community we will sing, chant, write, and reflect in order to wipe away the dust of illusion that gets in the way. With Nachiketa at our side, we will help each other on our path to salvation!

A Guided Experience of Therapeutic Breathwork

A profound experience of conscious connected breathing that will inspire breath awareness and a healthier breath pattern. The practice can bring greater personal perspective.

The word spirit comes from the Latin “spiritus” meaning “breath”

and also “spirit soul, courage, vigor.”

Students will be introduced to using conscious connected breath.

Using this breath pattern students will be:

• Moving prana (energy) in the body

  • Increasing oxygen levels in the body

  • Releasing habitual patterns of holding

  • Reducing stress levels / clearing the mind

  • Improving the quality of their sleep

  • Experiencing a profound sense of peaceful relaxation

Participants will be introduced to the concept of using the breath as a tool to move energy through the body. Then we will practice the technique as a group.

Masturbation, Orgasm and Pleasure Journeys

Whether we touch ourselves alone or with others, the pursuit of Self Pleasure, can unleash your inner juices.  Masturbation and orgasm are tools for a better world.  Unlocking joy and sexual release can provide stress relief, connection with self and others, endorphin rushes, and much more.  In this dialogue session we will reflect on our own attitudes and practices around masturbation and orgasm, as well as converse in one-on-one pairings and the larger group.

Erogenous Zones Touch Play

The skin is the largest sex organ.  Come explore the different ways we can stimulate it!  Erogenous zones are areas of the body, beyond the genitals, where touch can feel pleasurable.  We will do a short intro activity of mapping our own individual erogenous zones and what type of touch we may enjoy receiving.  We will then break into small groups for touch exchange, rotating receivers so that all may indulge.  This session will be clothing optional.

Intro to Heels!

Never had the opportunity to learn how to move in heels? Been too intimidated to try? Always falling/twisting an ankle when you give it a go? Come learn the basics of how to move in heels in a way that will have you ready to strut down the catwalk! Not sure you want to wear heels, but you want to feel sexy and have fun? This class also will give you some moves that can help you feel more empowered to show off and embrace your body in potentially new ways. Class starts with a warm-up without heels, across the floor exercises with heels (or without if you prefer), and some choreography to leave you with! No prior dance experience necessary, and all bodies and gender expressions are welcome! Come wearing something comfortable to move in, and bring some water!

Deep Dance

I believe that we can use movement to help question, deconstruct, feel and make meaning of our experiences in life to help live better lives and be able to give back to our communities in meaningful ways. In this class we will be looking at the multiplicities of self and how they manifest in our bodies. What is blocking us from accessing the parts of self we most desperately want to guide our lives and our communities? How do we treat different parts of ourselves and why? We will start with talking and some journaling to set intentions. From there you will be given space to move about freely as I verbally provide a guided improvisational movement experience. There will be time to reflect and write at the end of the class, and potentially time to share, debrief and connect about the experience afterwards.
