We will review all the pieces that need to be in place to utilize two of the most popular self-publishing platforms so that you can see your own literary skills in paperback, hardcover or eBook format. If time allows, we'll also discuss free platforms for publishing an audiobook and how to get that to your demanding public

    • OR - Sacred Surrender with Wayne Leiss - Temple
Trust is the foundation of meaningful relationships—with others, with life, and with ourselves. But it's often misunderstood as something we earn or lose. In this interactive 90-minute workshop, we explore trust as a living, breathing practice. Through simple yet powerful partner exercises and group reflections, participants will learn how to tune into intuition, build safe connections, and expand their capacity for both giving and receiving support.

  • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Lunch

  • 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Awakening Your Inner Mystic with Rob Dorgan and Steve Bolia - Great Room
This workshop will help you find practices that can calm your mind so you can begin to redirect your thoughts to your heart. For some, this could lead to more 'response' rather to 'reaction' in relationships; opening your eyes to the wonder contained in each moment and could even help you sleep better. These practices will include different types of active meditation. We will offer you tools to take home for your personal practice. A journal is recommended - there will be an opportunity for light touch/massage to enhance relaxation.

    • OR - The 7 Sacred Portals: Awakening the Divine Power Within with Mark-Anthony Lord - Temple
Step into a 2-hour journey designed exclusively for gay and queer men ready to release the past and remember who they really are. Through the ancient wisdom of the chakras, your seven sacred portals, you’ll reconnect with your innate perfection and your divine assignment in this lifetime. Experience guided meditations that awaken each portal, release the fears and limiting beliefs that have kept you playing small, and open to the truth of your radiant, powerful, and free self. No previous practice with chakras is required.

This is a time for us to start in a calm relaxed zone on the floor and then let our inner rhythms come through. When we think of dancing at a club, we focus on moving to the music.  This goes into a deeper zone where our internal expressions come through.  Some meditate, some touch other men, some move in jubilant expression. It is a time to find your own personal ecstasy as your body moves in space.

Ever feel like sexually you don’t fit into a specific category or label? Many men believe they don’t enjoy or see themselves as a top, bottom, or versatile. As a result, some experience self-doubt, pressure to fit in, and sometimes rejection and judgment from others. For some, this is a new term and for others having discovered it have found self-acceptance and a sense of side pride. We’ll explore what it means to identify as a side for oneself, in dating and other relationships, online and in-person connections, and the challenges as well as an inner peace it can bring.

This is a great way to meet, build trust, and feel the spark of embodied connection.

    • OR -Death Cafe with Harry Faddis - Temple
Starting in the U.K. in 2010, the Death Cafe provides a space for people, often strangers, to gather and eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death. It's very simple. The Death Cafe is a social franchise, in that we agree to host the gathering to follow the guidelines outlined in the website: www.deathcafe.com. It is important to notice that the Death Cafe is about our deaths: our awareness of it, our fears and ideas, our struggles and beliefs, etc. The Death Cafe is not about grief over the deaths of others. (That's another topic). Rather than becoming glum after a Death Cafe, people report being energized and positive about life; they find the discussion refreshing, speaking and hearing others talk simply about a taboo topic

  • 11:00 AM  - 12:30 PM - The Gays Who Made Us with Tyler Wansley - Great Room
Who made you feel that gay spirit for the first time? In this workshop we will each reflect on and talk about the people who impacted us, and what drew us to them to begin with. Maybe this person helped you see that there was another world out there for you, maybe they gave you the courage to come out, or maybe they just made you feel a tightness in your pants that you never noticed before. This is an intergenerational chat about the people who came before us, how they stood out, and how their light helped us find our own. This is not a conversation about the people in our personal lives, but rather a conversation about our history by celebrating those brave few folks who had the courage to live out loud in the public eye. What does gay spirit mean to you? Let's find those answers together by talking about The Gays Who Made Us.

    • OR - The Story is More Than What Happened with Thomas Kreek - Temple
Often, when we tell a story, it is focused on action — “I did this and then I did that.” A story becomes richer and more engaging when we weave in observations and sensory details. What did you see? How did it feel? In this workshop, you will tell a story and then be asked questions by others in the group, such as, What did it sound like? What did the air feel like? Were there any smells you noticed? This process will help you discover new details and bring your experience to life. You can bring your own story to build on or create one on the spot.

Every one of us is creative. They way we express it is an individual experience. Many of us have doubts about our creative self because we compare ourselves to others or have buried an injury about our talents from childhood art or music classes. There’s no sign up, so the cast is whoever shows up—and the more the merrier! The only requirement is a sense of humor. I’ll be directing on the fly and later edit and make a video out of it.
