Projects and Membership

Rod “Love” Schichtel fell in love with Easton Mountain on his first visit! He has been active in the community and a Supporting Member since his first visit in 2014. He became a full time resident in 2019, and is now living at EM in a cabin he designed and built. Steps away from his cabin is his new art and jewelry studio and exhibition space, The Love Gallery. For the 2024 season, his multimedia exhibit is titled Clear Vision. Rod is a multimedia artist on a mission to express love through everything he does. His visual arts are intended to uplift, heal and empower. His gemstone jewelry creations are intended to spark joy while supporting the wearer energetically. Rod’s creations are featured in the EM Gift Shop. 

Spiritual and personal growth are his biggest areas of interest. He has served various functions at Easton Mountain including volunteering, maintenance, design/decor, banquet planning and managing, volunteer coordinating, membership, presenting workshops, designing buildings and improvements, and project management. His workshops include group Sound Baths with his set of 7 chakra-tuned Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls and Gemstone Chakra Bracelet Making. He brings his whole heart and all of his talents to contribute here. He offers private sessions in Affirmation Coaching, Custom Jewelry Creation, Private Sound Baths and Energy Sessions with Reiki and Reconnective Healing. He loves sharing his gifts and talents. Everything he touches becomes more beautiful. He loves to dream big and watch in delight as his dreams become realities. Some of his biggest and most cherished dreams and visions are of improvement projects at Easton Mountain. In every way, he is fully invested in Easton Mountain and its well being.
