This workshop is for all bodies of all fitness levels. No experience necessary.
Loving Our Bare Bodies is a guided, body-positive workshop that supports men in releasing shame, building confidence, and developing a more compassionate relationship with their bodies. In a culture that often encourages comparison and self-judgment, the experience offers a different possibility: being seen, accepted, and appreciated as we are. The workshop is created for GBTQ men and for those who feel at home in a space centered on men’s bodies and shared experience.
Loving Our Bare Bodies is regularly offered at Easton Mountain retreats, especially Bear Your Soul, and also appears in other Easton programs. It has been shared in cities across the country, including yoga studios, Bear Week in Provincetown, bear runs and community gatherings, and even private homes.
Through a series of facilitated exercises, participants disrobe, practice vulnerability, and share affirmative, consensual touch that honors each person’s body. While the experience can feel intimate and lightly erotic at times, it is not a sexual event. The intention is connection, comfort in our own skin, and mutual respect.
The space is carefully facilitated with a strong emphasis on consent, communication, and personal boundaries. Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies, honor their limits, and participate at their own pace. Many people leave with greater self-acceptance, deeper connection to other men, and renewed appreciation for the diversity of our bodies.
This workshop includes group nudity and some light erotic touch.
