Meet Alan Haney
Alan Haney worked at a Boy Scout camp for six years while he was in high school and at Texas Tech. He found at Easton Mountain the same feeling of camaraderie that he had felt at that camp. At Texas Tech he earned a bachelors in finance with an emphasis in real estate, which led to a career as a real estate analyst and appraiser - working for several financial institutions during the uncertain economic times of the first part of this century - before changing his career path to work as a corporate operations manager.
Alan first came to Easton Mountain in the spring of last year, and he says that here he was encouraged to explore what he really wanted out of life, rather than just looking for any available job. This has led him to enroll in an MBA program in Hospitality at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. Because much of this program can be done online, he was able to become our Director of Operations, as well as our Volunteer Coordinator, here at Easton Mountain while continuing his studies.
He has just moved into a cabin. Here's a couple of pictures from last Thursday night's cabin warming party.
